First, a little about the restaurant. Tsukasa Japanese Restaurant is located in quaint Downtown Bordentown New Jersey, a few minutes off of Routes 130 and 206 on Crosswicks Street. We serve authentic Japanese cuisine prepared by a professionally trained Japanese chef. The restaurant is BYOB and take-out is available. We were thrilled with the food at Tsukasa. I am of Japanese parents, and the food there was delicious and reminded me of food "just like mom used to make." We tried a wide variety of things: sushi, tatsuta-age (fried marinated chicken), kushikatsu (fried breaded pork on a skewer, beef teriyaki, ramen, and gyoza (fried dumplings) and all of it was good. The atmosphere is very simple and spartan, but very clean, and we enjoyed being able to converse without having to raise our voices. We give this place two-thumbs up!
